• Usage data: maintenance requests, announcements, documents, and poll responses created within your community.
• Billing information: processed through PayPal. We do not store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the HOADesk platform.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, maintenance updates, announcements).
• To process subscription payments.
• To respond to support requests.

3. Data Isolation

Each HOA community operates in a fully isolated environment. Community data, resident records, documents, and maintenance history are never shared with or visible to any other HOA on the platform.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only with:

• Service providers necessary to operate HOADesk (database hosting, email delivery, payment processing).
• Law enforcement when required by applicable law.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains stored for 30 days before being permanently deleted, giving you time to export anything you need.

6. Security

All passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Session tokens are encrypted. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We employ industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
